Alexis Espinoza is a Phoenix, Arizona native who moved to Washington, D.C. and attended American University in 2015. In his time at American Alex has held internships with the committees on Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs and Judiciary for the U.S. House of Representatives. He has prominent experience in formulating policy on issues involving civil rights, domestic/foreign terrorism, and foreign relations. In addition, Alex was also a fellow with the Office of Legal Counsel at BMW Spain where he spent the summer of 2019 learning about corporate litigation in Madrid.
Alex graduates with a BA in Justice and Law and is in the process of finishing up a Master’s degree in International Law and Security from the Sandra Day O’ Connor College of Law.
