Ricardo J. Murga is a licensed Maryland attorney who focuses his practice on Immigration Law. Ricardo was born with parents from Guatemala and Bolivia and is a Maryland native. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland College Park, while studying Government and Politics with a minor in U.S. Latino Studies.

Ricardo received his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he represented clients as a student attorney. Ricardo served as President for both the Latin American Law Student Association and Immigrant Law Society at his school. During his time as President, his board kickstarted a fundraiser that helped fund applications for DACA recipients, covering legal costs and government fees. Additionally, his organizations participated in leadership programs focused on guiding local Baltimorean high school students through the college application process.

Ricardo is now on the frontline fighting for the immigrant community in Immigration Court. His experience has led him to win many immigration cases ranging from Asylums and Cancelations of Removal to NACARA applicants. Ricardo’s drive stems from being raised by immigrant parents and his involvement with the immigrant community. Ricardo is a fluent Spanish speaker who is dedicated to help fight the challenges and obstacles presented in the immigration process.
