Biography

Pilar Falo focuses her practice on criminal and family law matters in the state of Virginia. Whether defending an MS-13 gang member on capital murder charges in federal court or defending a DUI in state court, she is driven by a passion to truly advocate for her client's needs and achieve justice for them. She has handled hundreds of cases working on contested and uncontested divorces, child custody and support, equitable distribution, and acquiring and defending protective orders. As an experienced family law attorney, Pilar walks her clients through all steps of the litigation. She is also very sensitive to the costs associated with litigation and works hard to attain a settlement that benefits her clients whenever possible.

Pilar feels truly blessed to have been bilingual since birth. She utilizes her fluent Spanish to provide pro bono representation to the underserved Latino population through her church and community when she is not working or running after her three young boys. Prior to joining the Salvado group, she served as legislative counsel for former US congressman Barney Frank in the United States House of Representatives. Prior to that, she served as a law clerk to the former chief federal judge for the Eastern District of Virginia. She received her B.A. from Fairfield University and her J.D. from the Catholic University of America. Pilar is a native from Northern Virginia and loves the Washington Redskins and Capitals, Bethany Beach, playing tennis, reading, and being with her boys and family.
